Money is a root of all evil.

This is my last topic, which is my group need to have a debate based from the topic "Money is a root of all evil". For me, this topic is quite interesting. Melody, Hartini and I had come out with good points about this topic. we had agree that "Money is a root of all evil."

Typical Fadli Azali, he had an ability to counter back our points. One of his point that he use was " Why do you say that money is a root of all evil? History had shown that crime had been done before money existed!" I thought that he was really using his brain. However, our group is a winner. Thank God. Of course, the best speaker was Fadli.

How to use my own brain?
I still try to find it.

Animal Farm

For this topic, if i am not mistaken, I didn't come to my lecturer's class. However, I had covered yet about this kind of film, "Animal Farm".

This story is about animals kingdom that had been ruled by a pig. Before that, there were people who ruled the animal. However, after the animals rebels and make annoying sound and chaos towards people, the animals had conquered the farm. The leader is a black disgusting pig. The rules started to change day by day.

My first thought when I watch this kind of movie is "what kind of movie is it?". But after I try to watch deeper with my heart, and I know it is about political issues and how discrimination can make people live in agony. Besides that, this kind movie showed that people need to be aware when they choose their leaders. For me, a leader need to be fair. Justice should be practice, and world will be in peace.

Father.

A few weeks ago, we had a debate in Sir Mark’s class. The topic of the debate was “My daddy is the best daddy in the world.” This topic is quite sensitive, and there is no winner in the debate session. For me, all daddies are the best.
I respect my father. Why, because he teach me to be a patient person. When I was a young boy, he taught me to be a tough person. Besides that, he wanted me to learn from mistakes. I remember when I had failed in my test, he always taught me to learn and improve my score in test. Besides that, my father is a person who is very outspoken.
He is a teacher and his Malay and English language are good. I learned from him, especially when I get involved in speech competition. If I’m not mistaken, I got second prize when I’m in primary school. Before the competition, he trained me and taught me how to handle nervous. That’s why I become an outspoken person until today. Now, I can give speech in front of the people, extemporaneously.
Moreover, my father is a very patient man. He rarely scolded me and people were easy to deal everything with him. Besides, he is the one who can handle problems wisely. I remember, when he had trapped in trouble, he always be calm and solved that problem.
In short, I love my father, because he taught me how to be a man.

Debate

In this week, we had an awesome debate session. First at all, the debate session started with the topic “Ghost does exist “. Each group has their own argument. There were two groups which are Panel A and Panel B. Muaz had started with argument, which is quite interesting. He had come out with research. Besides that, Hizrie and Urus had counter back with good points. At last, Urus’s team had won the debate.
Besides that, the next topic was TV can educate us. I had involved in this debate session. My group had started first with opening statement. After the both groups had come out with their points and opinions, for the second round, there was a “fight” between Fadli Azali and Melody. Both of them had argued until our lecturer asked them to stop. At the end, Panel B had won the debate.
The next debate’s topic was “There are no honest people in this world”. This debate was ended yet. Who is the winner?

It’s hard to expect.

Understanding and Elaborating Ideas.

Video 1.

Topic: Larry should give candies to the 17 years old teenager although they don’t wearing Halloween costume.

Perspective: Larry should not give them candies because they are all matured and not kids anymore.

Position: Larry should give them candies because it is already Halloween, and they should get it in that season.

Video 2.

Topic: A third person should know what a phone call is regarding for.

Perspective: A third person should not know a phone call because Larry has their own right to speak personally without third person’s intervention.

Position: A third person should know what a phone call is regarding for because it is easier for Larry to get any information from and he can know whether the first person is busy or not.

This is what I had learnt, it’s all about how we elaborate and create the ideas. This method is very useful especially if you want to form a good essay.

Brain.

Everybody has a brain. We are all the same, that is a fact. Something that makes you different is how you use your brain. Average humans use 1% of brain while Einstein use approximately 4%, which make him differs from others.

Now, I will conclude from what I had learnt in Mr. Mark’s class, it is all about left and right brainer. In this world, many of us have a various type of behaviors and personalities. All of these are refer on how they use their brain, whether left or right.

Right brainers.

Most of right brainers are having ability in art. They tend to be a creative person, and more emphatic. Besides, they love to use their intuitive to make a decision, rather than logic.

Left brainers.

Mathematics and chess are describing everything about left brainer. They love to ask anything in this world and want to prove it with logical reason. In other hand, they like to argue everything.

Are you a left or right brainer?

Think about it.

Superstitious.

Superstitious. It is around us and occurs in many races. In Malaysia, there are three dominant races which consist of Malay, Chinese and Indian. All of these three races have their own superstitions, and sometimes they take it seriously. For instance, in Malay superstitions, some of Malay's people still practicing the flower bathing, as it's help people to prevent bad luck and easy to have a good partner-life.

Besides, most of them believe that if a crow flying around your house and make noisy sound; they will something bad happen such as death and accident. Furthermore, they make the superstitious as way to advice kids. Let say, kids are not allowed to sharpen their pencil in both ends; their parents will be facing dead. They make this phrase because it is too dangerous for kids to use the pencil with two ends.
Moreover, the superstitions also concern on gender, especially women. This is happened especially among Malay's people. As an illustration, women can't sing while cooking, because they will get married with an old man. Some of us will think that this is really ridiculous, but the truth is, many people still believe that.

Currently, most of us only make a joke for thus who believe superstitious. We should make other methods to teach and give advice. Why? The superstition is not relevant anymore, because it can stick your mind to experience and learn everything. It is mean that you are "trapped" in taboos. No freedom to explore. Honestly, superstitions change my life, but just a little bit. For me, I don't believe superstitions anymore, because most of them are non-sense. But one more thing, some of the superstitious maybe truly happened. Nothing’s impossible in this world. It's up to you neither you want to believe it or not.

It's up to you.
It's depends on you.
